I’m surely too tired, and it is far too late to be posting an inaugural blog entry. But I’ve just copied all my photos to my iMac, and have discovered how easy it is on the Mac to create a very nice blog. Nothing at all like doing it on a PC or Linux.
I’d been using Nucleus, which is frankly quite painful to use. Most of the templates they provide are hideous, and modifying them is extremely difficult until you get over the learning curve. By contrast, I’ve dropped a blog, a podcast, a photo album, and an about-me page, and it’s little more than a drag-and-drop. No installation. No setting up SQL databases. No tweaking the XML code.
After all the years of struggling with the PC, this is a remarkable experience.
